Richard S. Victor elected a Diplomate of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers

in Bloomfield Hills, recently was elected as one of only 95 attorneys in the country to the American College of Family Trial Lawyers (ACFTL) and was inducted into the College at its annual meeting in New Orleans.

The Oakland County Bar Foundation (OCBF) hosted its 14th Annual Signature Event to benefit Michigan-based law-related charitable causes on Friday, April 19, at the Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills. Victor & Victor, PLLC, once again served as one of the sponsors of the event.

More than 200 attended the Michigan Lawyers Weekly Up & Coming Lawyers 2012 luncheon Dec. 6 at the Detroit Marriott Troy.

The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) presented its annual seminar on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. On Friday, Sept 19, the International Kids Alliance Network (IKAN) along with attorney Richard S. Victor of Victor and Victor P.L.L.C. and the Victor Smile Foundation hosted the second in a series of nationwide children’s book charity events at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills to launch the book “You and Me Make Three,” which is based on the national parent education SMILE program, started in Oakland Country in 1989. During the event, the book’s publisher, Edna Cucksy (center) of Edco Publishing Co., presented the 2008 Hermes Creative Award to (left to right) illustrator Heather Drescher and co-authors Richard S. Victor, Wendy Lokken, and Gwendy Mangiamele. The book deals with the challenges of divorce and separation. Proceeds from the launch event will benefit Oakland Schools, the Oakland Schools Education Foundation, and CARE House.

Victor was launched with a major book signing and charity benefit raising money for the Collier County teachers fund of Florida and the Collier County Education Foundation.
